Hello…
Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!
As we approach the end of 2020, we have so much to look back and say we made it through and at the same time, there is a new beginning that we are all looking forward to in 2021. (This post was originally published in Jan 2021)
Resolutions come with every new year. The yearning to do well in our lives, be it our career, our lifestyle, or our relationships, is something we all strive for. To get even close to being successful in any of these, we need our instrument to be in the right frame of health, both physical and mental. Health goals, being a part of the new year goal list is not uncommon. We may have done this before, but somewhere before the month of January ends, stress hits us and the spirit of our resolutions dilutes away. Is there something we can do to embark on this health journey and make it one of the most successful ones ever? What can we do to stay the course and see those changes reflect in the way we live and the way we feel? Imagine the difference we can make when we can clear that brain fog, rid ourselves of those aches and pains, loose that lethargy that was pulling us back.
Sound health is based on many factors, like the food and water we consume, the air we breathe, the sleep we get, the way we handle our stress, the quality of exercise, the relationships we foster, the products we use, the pots and pans we cook in. Some of these are in our control and some are not. Lifestyle and food are factors we can take care of if we know how to go about them. They contribute largely to our state of wellbeing and there is a lot we can do to fix these.
I am holistic nutrition consultant, and it is my job to understand where you are in this journey and help you make those changes and help you get closer to your health goals. Some of the cases in my portfolio so far are type 2 diabetes, blood pressure issues, cholesterol issues, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, poly cystic ovarian syndrome, hypothyroid and hashimotos just to name a few. I was instrumental in helping my clients get better from where they started and, in some cases, we were even able to reverse the situation. It is nothing short of a miracle on how our bodies can repair and rebuild when we give them the space to do so.
